How We Help

Families with children with physical disabilities have been turning to Easter Seals Ontario for assistance for the past 91 years. Easter Seals has provided many different services over the years, however we continue to remain true to those we believe are essential for young people with physical disabilities - mobility, communication and summer camp.

By providing financial assistance, Easter Seals performs an essential service to families who might not otherwise have the resources to obtain essential equipment. Easter Seals also owns and operates two fully accessible camp properties and is recognized as an industry leader in providing specialized recreation programs for kids with physical disabilities at Easter Seals camps.

Easter Seals' programs and services are funded through personal donations, as well as from a variety of fundraising events that take place throughout the year in communities across Ontario. Some of Easter Seals' events include: Telethon, Regatta, Power Play, Toronto Maple Leafs Skate, and Snowarama.

The heart-felt desire to serve children, youth and young adults with physical disabilities and their families, is what Easter Seals is all about. We judge our success by our ability to help these kids enjoy the feeling of freedom and the sense of inclusiveness and pride offered by participation and social interaction.
